Zoom Meeting

Argh! I could have joined around the 6 hour mark but it didn't occur to me that it could still have been going.

Kenna, this weeks zoom only went 4 1/2 hours, and I made apologies on your behalf as I knew you would be busy with other activities. It was lovely to catch up with @Pippa and bask in the warmth of her glow as her life continues to get better! We look forward to next week!

Eight hours! That’s a marathon Zoom session.

Laurie and I were out at dinner with Northwest Gender Alliance, a lovely group of folks, for what turns out to be the first three and a half hours of the call, I didn’t think to check if it was still running!

We’re trying to get out and make social connections here in our new home.

That would be 2 AM PST for me. I can't seem to keep my eyes open any later than 9 PM PST unless I'm away from home. Funny my eyes are always wide open at 5 AM every damn morning. UGH! Old habits are hard to break.

It was lovely to catch up with @Pippa and bask in the warmth of her glow as her life continues to get better!

The glow is because I have had the extreme good fortune to stumble into meeting a really amazing, intelligent, person who has the most incredible attitude towards enjoying her life, I quickly fell in Love with her, then as time passed she has fallen in Love with me.
The craziest thing is that I was not actually looking for a relationship, and neither was Alex. Quite a few years ago I had given up on the hope of that happening.
I attended a social short walk organized by an introverts group, just so I could talk to people. Both of us were slower at walking than the rest of the group, so we walked together and chatted while the others left us behind.

So after being single for over 20 years, I suddenly find myself in a relationship. I guess the message to take out of this is that anyone might meet someone very special, at almost any time.
The only real thing that a person must be doing is to attend events / places where it is possible to meet people and talk to them.

We are going to zoom again this Saturday Night (US Time)! (From 12 midday for Aus east coast this week). Our meetings are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you will get!

Tonight's Zoom meeting update. Allie will not be able to host tonight's Zoom meeting. Can someone else host tonight's meeting? If not, we understand. We are hoping our regularly scheduled Saturday night Zoom meetings will resume next week.
