Mountain is an hour earlier than Pacific. Arizona however doesn't use daylight savings time so they are kind of like Pacific in the summer, Mountain in the winter.

Confusing things more is that the Navajo reservation in northeast Arizona (a good chunk of it) does follow daylight savings time.

OK, I'll just work with Central time and get people to work it out for me! I was also trying to figure equivalent times in Iraq, and New Zealand, and equate them all to Eastern time in Australia! I love a challenge!

Is there a Zoom meeting tonight?
Sorry Donica, there was and there were 10 people invited but 4 no shows, so we could have fit you in..... It was a pretty lacklustre meeting without you (well, except Moni and Nicole dancing...)

I'have had a very busy week and just realised the end of the week is upon us already!!!! Who would be interested in a Zoom meeting this week?

I think the dance party theme will go on, but someone needs to provide music this time!!!

While I can happily make it to either or both, I'd be bit late for Friday. While I may also be a bit late on Saturday I suspect it wouldn't be by as much. My weekends seem to be filling up!

Think I'll be heading down to visit the kids again. I'd love to try to join in but not sure what my availability would be. Friday would work if I go down early Saturday, so I've got no idea yet.

I'm up for this Saturday evening if there's room. I'm up for a little chair dancing (aka dancing while seated) lol

Allie will send you an invitation. Our meetings are generally at 8 PM (20:00 hours) US Central time.

I made it Saturday night only as I only had 4 responses! I have sent the link to a Conversation list of 15 members, knowing some can't make it. Christina, you will need to work out what your local time is at 8 pm Central USA time for Saturday night.

Remember, Dance party, and Moni just finish watching Footloose, so she is ready!!!

Hugs,

Allie

I would love to participate and I understand that it is difficult to accomodate all, but is 8 pm CST/CDT really a good choice? - Saturday 8 pm CST/CDT would make it Sunday noon for you in AEST (right?), which is convenient for you, but it means 4 am here in CET, which - at my age at least - is a nogo time.

If, for example, we could move the meetings back e.g. to 3 or 4 pm CST/CDT, then that would make it 11 pm or midnight Saturday here in CET, which would probably (still) work for most of us in Europe and 7 or 8 am Sunday in AEST, which I suppose could be tolerable for you down under as well?

Sure, I would definitely have to „update my looks“ this late at night and appearing on „global tv“ at 7 or 8 am would probably require an early start at that from you down under, but even a little time shift backwards would bring us all more into view of each other.

Marie, we are not locked in to any particular time slot, and as interest increases we can run multiple meetings at different times. The 8 pm Central time seems popular as it covers the 9pm to 6pm time slots across the USA, and the meetings usually go for 4 hours, or more. We have enough members to run another meeting earlier as well. Linde is trying to arrange meetings at a more convenient time for Europe. We just finished a 6 hour meeting which finished at 2am Central, but it allowed Christina from Iraq to join us at her local time of 9am, but only for a short time. It would not be reasonable to expect you to stay up until 4 or 5 am to join us?

It is really not practical to try to find a convenient time for time zones as far apart as we all are but possible to run a session say at 1 p.m. Central US t[me, which would be 8 pm German time and maybe 9 pm in Iraq? @Linde
