Our Covid cases here in Wisconsin have exceeded 300,000 and there have been more cases in the last week than there have been in the first 150 days of the pandemic. Throughout Wisconsin there are currently 2000 people hospitalized for covid and so hospitals are starting to ration care once more.
I fear that Gast at the UW will be cancelling vaginoplasties to free up beds. I don’t have a Facebook account so I can’t check, but if this is indeed the case, my heart goes out to these men and women. I know how devastating it can be to have your surgery cancelled. Hang in there and be strong. It’s a setback, but covid won’t always be rampaging through the state.
