Hi everyone.
some of you might have seen a profile post where I gave a link to a cover song I recorded as I readied for a month long songwriting challenge. And if you saw that, you also saw where i described how self conscious I am about my voice... dare I say dysphoric about my voice.

But despite that, I thought I'd share a song I wrote about a guitar that identifies as a ukulele. I didn't set out to write a song about being transgender but sometimes the Muses say, "hey!... what do you think of this idea?" And a creative person has no control. I've received a number of comments of encouragement and a lot of folks have said it has stirred some pretty strong emotions in them.

So pushing myself into severe "out of my comfort zone" area, here's a song I wrote about...
well... that I wrote about us.

Hope you like it.

I really like it, it's hard to express how we all feel, but you really got that sense across. And on another note, I really like your voice, it has a lovely tone and warmth.

Hi @Spr !
Thanks for the kind words about the song I wrote. I really appreciate it. It isn’t my best effort as I’m still trying to get used to sing in a higher key but it’s getting there.

I saw your comment about my cover of Angel from Montgomery and have been meaning to say thanks for that as well. Things have just been a little hectic for me the past few weeks so wasn’t able to till now. Sooo... thank you.

Honestly, thank you for taking the time to listen and write your compliment. It means the world to me.

No problem, as a fellow musician I really like listening to new ideas well executed. You inspire me to try and sing in a higher range, and see what I can do too.
