Hi everyone.
some of you might have seen a profile post where I gave a link to a cover song I recorded as I readied for a month long songwriting challenge. And if you saw that, you also saw where i described how self conscious I am about my voice... dare I say dysphoric about my voice.
But despite that, I thought I'd share a song I wrote about a guitar that identifies as a ukulele. I didn't set out to write a song about being transgender but sometimes the Muses say, "hey!... what do you think of this idea?" And a creative person has no control. I've received a number of comments of encouragement and a lot of folks have said it has stirred some pretty strong emotions in them.
So pushing myself into severe "out of my comfort zone" area, here's a song I wrote about...
well... that I wrote about us.
Hope you like it.
