I wonder what Amber will throw together. Because of the hurricane conditions, we have not been shopping the last 3 days, and nothing fresh is left to eat in the house (not even eggs). We can use stuff from the freezer, it will be fine with me.

Christmas is over and I am done over indulging. I think I gained 40 lbs. I feel like it, anyway. Today's lunch is a nice bowl of hot and sour soup.

@Emma , those Chicken Korma pot pies sound divine! Heck, I would take the filling and eat the lot with naan!
I don't have pictures of any of my holiday food but over the Christmas hiatus, I made for myself golden rice (an Indian fried rice with milk and ghee) and easily made pain pardu with vanilla and cinnamon from some baguettes, topped with real maple syrup.
Once I get moved into my own place, I think I'm going to try a simpler variant of the Chicken Korma and, later, try my hand at idli.
