my gran is in hospital right now getting a knee operation soi cant really speak to her but she is calling my dad as he will be taking her home. she had called him earlier and he handed the phone to me. she didnt recognise my voice. she wasnt expecting to talk to me so she didnt recognise my voice it had changed that much

It might be interesting to keep an audio or video journal so that later you can hear how much your voice has changed over time.

yeah, we talk every week. she always calls me and knows that i am always the one that picks up the phone when she calls so she always expects to talk to me, this time she didnt since she called my dad's mobile
