Wanda, you are so very welcome here. We don't have a lot of rules other than to respect each other and just be nice! A good sense of humour is always a good thing around here, but you will figure this out. When you are comfortable on the site, and confident we are not all loonies, maybe you would like to join us for one of our video chat sessions on Friday and Saturday nights (US time). These have cemented friendships here and really developed us into a close community.

I’m new. I’m Julie. I’ve never fit in with to normal world, but would fall to sleep, imagining that I was female.
A few 3 or 4 years ago, while researching, what I thought was a perversion, I realized that I am transgender. It did not freak me out.. It was more of an “aha” moment. Suddenly my insecurities, my social anxiety, my lack of desire to build lasting friendships made sense.

I’m happily married to my best friend, who is female. I’m not attracted to men. I love my life, but I’m tired of keeping my realization in the closet. I need friends who get me.

Julie, don't be nervous! After we descend from Mount Olympus, we on the 'refuge' are just like any other run of the mill, gods and goddesses! One of the nice things about this place is that we do joke around, act a little silly, well, not me in particular, but others do. We want folks to be relaxed and feel like opening up if they want. Join in, you will be welcomed. @Wanda Full mentioned having a bad experience on another site. Many of us have. This site is more relaxed than others I've seen. And yes, we joke with folks we know here, but it isn't meant to be clickie. Newbies, once we are comfortable with you and you with us, you will be included in the fun if you want to be. Now, where is my cup of ambrosia and my crown. I am known in these parts as the Princess of Sausage! (Don't ask, lol!)

I'm nonbinary/transmasculine and just starting to come out to others outside of my immediate friends - and take steps toward surgery and hormones. Wow, I am so very excited to welcome our 400th new member, @Natalie !! This forum went live on December 24th last year, and we wondered if we might attract 100 members the first year. We have developed into a caring community, and swelled to 400 members which is a credit to the staff, but more importantly a credit to all our members as it's you who make this Forum a Community, and a place we love to be.

Hi everyone, as I’m a newcomer to this group I thought I’d introduce myself and briefly let you know where I am on my gender journey. I hope that sharing my story and experiences honestly may help other members on their way (if they’re not there already). I’m currently putting it together and will share it in sections as I don’t want to put up anything that’s too long or detailed or will bore people.
