Used Urban Decay’s All Nighter Setting Spray for the first time yesterday. IT ROCKS! Makeup is not coming off or moving with this stuff. I touched my face a lot; had on a face mask for good chunks of time. Sweated too. My makeup stayed perfectly until I got home and used makeup remover before bed. You can get it at Sephora or probably online too, but just wanted to give a shout out as it’s he best setting spray/powder I’ve used.

Emma

Edit: I also like Bath & Body Work’s French Lavender & Honey spray. It smells good and isn’t too strong :). They have more scents than that but it’s the one I have lol.

I’m going to have to look at the name of the stuff I have. It says it’s water and sweat proof, and so far it seems to work really well. I have gone on a hard bike ride during which I was sweating buckets and my makeup did not come off. I have become a believer in quality setting sprays.

Urban Decay’s All Nighter Setting Spray
Thats the one I've been using . Was recommended on a women's golf blog. I will also say that it works quite well.
Ain't cheap though, $30 I think, but a fairly good size bottle though.

That's the same I use too Emma. Love the stuff. I've been thinking about body makeup for those less that favorable body blems and then using Urben Decay to keep the makeup from spreading to my clothes. I haven't found a good body makeup yet. The stuff, as seen on TV is really cheap and not worth the money.

Donica, now I am nosy. Why would one put makeup on the body, and what places would that go?
I have never even heard of body makeup!

Hugs
Linde.

I use it also! It keeps my face from falling off. I also use translucent powder under my eyes to try to prevent the eye liner from going down under and creating the black eye look after perspiring. Limited success, but better than nothing! With hooded eyes, it is hard to keep liner in place. Any thoughts?

Linde, it's mostly used in the film industry, but it works great to cover blems on the chest, arms, and even legs. The problem is that it transfures to clothing.

I've seen contouring make up used to create the illusion of cleavage also

Not a problem with the kind of films I do, Donica! My clothes stay clean!

As I wrote several times before, I hardly use makeup at all. I put moisturizer on, followed with a tintet sunscreen, and a little blush on the cheek bones.
For the eyes I just use maskara.
I use the 24 hour liquid lip color. I don't need any spray on my face, because there is nothing that needs to be fixed in place.

Hugs

I have found that the tinted sunscreen will run off on a facemask. I really like the tinted sunscreen in place of regular makeup, but use a setting spray so it doesn't get on my facemask.

Powder under the eyes is a good trick too when you get a little crazy with the mascara wand 😂.

Lol, the first time I tried to put mascara on, it looked more like I was attacked by a ferocious mascara wand. It looked it clawed me all over my eyes, leaving black claw marks.

Here is the setting spray I use. I found this at CVS and it works really well. 20201012_144257.jpg

Sandy is not a fan of setting sprays, because it tends to clog the pores.

But here is the great secret to reduce or remove the bags under the eyes........
Preperation H, the anti hemorrhoid stuff makes those to shrink, and also the bags under the eyes.
