Figure I’ll be deliriously happy and/or drugged.
Now is the time to start a detailed report book. I expect you to hand that to me a little later this year, when I (hopefully) have to get ready for all that excitement. I could use an operator manual by that time!

As I think about it, not many of you knew me when I went through my time for GCS. Terri, Laurie, Tia, and maybe Stephanie! Rest assured those of you waiting are handling it a whole lot better than I did. I was a mess. I didn't even have the virus complications!

I knew of you back then, think it was about the time I started on SP.
I read your posts but GCS was so far away for me yet. If it makes you feel better, you can say I learned from your experience. I've also tempered my enthusiasm a bit because of the virus and threat of postponement. Getting insurance approval for the third time is another potential snag. That should come about the time I'm supposed to stop my estrogen so I'll have pseudo menopause to deal with when I can finally let myself get excited about it.

I've still got 9 months to wait and I'm concentrating on getting my HRT sorted so no anxiety about GCS yet, but I'm sure it will start to build as others go through their recovery.

Hugs,

Allie

I also knew about you Moni. But at that time I thought that my orchi would be all I would want, and if I would need/want more, my intersex thing would give me free sailing. Well, I had to learn it the hard way. Nobody gave a hoot about me being intersex, an I had to struggle to start HRT to get my 12 month in. The surgeons would not even talk to me without proofing to them that I had the 12 month of HRT and life experience and the two infamous letters in their hands!

I tend to lose perspective on when I knew who. No offense to anyone. I am happy if any of my experience was useful. I'm sitting here with fingers crossed for all of you. Mostly I want everyone safe, but I also want to see dreams fulfilled.

I'd be surprised if you remembered me from then. I was new to all this.
I read your posts and many others, Laurie's travels in particular. I was too new to make any meaningful comments and didn't even know what questions to I had yet about surgery and so on.

To me back then you and everyone near or post surgery were just on a different level. Reading about that though certainly helped me get to that level now.

Yes Moni, I joined SP after you had recovered from your GCS. I was there for everyone else though except, I think I missed MichelleP's GCS? I was there for her FFS. That was some time ago. Allot has changed, a lot of miles down that road. I do remember you from SP. We worked on a Christmas song together. Now how did that go?:unsure:I remember you too Tonya from SP, although we didn't talk much back then. Gosh I remember most everyone here was a SP member.

Today's "holy shit it's getting closer" post.

New work schedule came out. Goes through week of my surgery. Schedule needs fixing as she forgot. I sent her my plan way back because it included days off I needed in March which I didnt take because of shutting down. Had a new reminder type up but hadn't given it to her yet. I was off yesterday, she's off today and she went ahead and made the schedule before I could reminder her. There is a note on her desk and an response to the email with the schedule.

Oh, you youngsters, why back in my day, surgery was up hill both ways and through the snow no less! Donica, I remember trying to help you create your theme song for your blog. Was it Gilligan's Island or something?
Tonya, ah, you would think the boss would remember this!? LOL I mean it's probably as rare as seeing a yellow bellied sap sucker doing the can can!

Tonya...Love that song...Reminds me of another one I saw look up “No more F@€£§ to give”
Yes that word.... I’d post it but it might be pushing it.

Everything seemingly on track and yet I still had a bad night with dysphoria. Nothing triggered it that I'm aware of. Overwhelming sense that everything is wrong and everything I've done I did it wrong.

Mostly better this morning. Have to work today. Take my mind off it at least.

Tonya you've done the best you can within what and where you can do about it. Really. You have taken others into consideration with your choices of action. You must be like walking a tightrope sometimes. If you haven't gone splat on the ground yet, then you couldn't have done it all wrong!

Now go deal those drugs ;)
