I am excited to announce a coming affiliate partnership with En Femme Style that could lead to some really exciting opportunities for TransRefuge to expand it's support of the transgender community and put a little extra operating capital at our disposal. I'll be posting more about the exciting stuff as it comes, but first we need to get the affiliate partnership setup and operating.

En Femme Style designs and manufactures a variety of fashion and clothing items specifically for transgender women. Their product offerings range from pants to gaff panties. During my call with their Marketing Director today, I was impressed to hear that they use only transgender models for their marketing images. What is notable about En Femme Style is that they are more than just a style brand. They are dedicated to supporting and promoting transgender people and their rights and welfare. In our phone discussion, we both agreed that we have goals that are in line with each other and missions that could be mutually beneficial. I am looking forward to seeing how this relationship can grow.

In the meantime, I am on the hunt for a similar partner for style and clothing marketing partnership with a company that specializes in men's clothing for transmasculine people. I have approached GC2B, but have yet to receive a response. If anyone has any suggestions of companies that would be a good fit for this, please let me know.

This sounds very exciting Katie. I love this idea. I think it would be great at some point to find a shoe outlet for trans women also. If there is such a thing.

I just sent an email to Dapper Boi to see if they would be interested in partnering for transmasculine clothing and clothing for non-binary people whose pelvis shape is female. They seem to have some great clothing designs. I looked at other companies that specialize in transmasculine clothing and most of them only offered various shirts. Dapper Boi has the best range of clothing products I could find for transmasculine fashion. We'll see what they say.

I'm happy to announce that the affiliate partnership has been finalized and everything is now functional. Many of you have probably noticed that there has been a banner for En Femme at the bottom of the page for a several days. Now the official bank account linking and all of that other jazz has been setup. So, if you have a need for anything female style related, you have a place where you can purchase the items you need and simultaneously support TransRefuge. I don't really need the money, so whatever revenue the site happens to receive will go toward covering annual operating costs, and anything beyond that will go toward site improvement and enhancements.

I just want to remind you all that Katie paid for the first year cost of the forum out of her own pocket. Allie paid out of her pocket for the Zoom service.

We cannot have people pay on their own for the forum and that is why we need the advertising revenue.

Easy on the guilt trips ;). Really I'm sure we would do this out of our own pockets either way, but offsetting some of the operating costs does relieve some pressure. And if there ends up being a surplus someday, there are some cool things we could do that require more money.
