@Linde I couldn't find where you asked this, so I'll put it here. The last dot on a dilator is 5 1/2 inches. The dots are in half inch increments. With most surgeries in the past, most surgeons do not expect you will attain 6 inches. I had that depth at one point, but that was with intense dilation. I did two dilations instead of the one I was ordered to do for the first year. At one point, if you start letting up, as in once a week after the year, you most likely will not keep your max depth.

Thanks Moni. For me, who wanted zero depth originally, it is amazing that I am able to shove that much of the dilator inside of me. They achieved this depth without needing to harvest tissue from any other place of my body.
I am supposed to do the intensive dilation for a year, and after it relax it to once a week. I wonder if one can maintain the depth by foing it twice a week after a year?
They gave me two dilators, the blue and the green, and told me, if I want to get larger, I could purchase the largest size (I think ot is yellow) what benefit would it have to get this? Is it a realistic size for most men one would encounter?

This is common practice, @Linde to give the first two dilators and have to buy the other two. If one has any intention of having penis in vagina sex, I would recommend buying the larger sizes. The forth biggest, in my case, orange, is a realistic width, I believe, to prepare for sex. I would introduce larger sizes on your doctor's schedule, but I would tend to do so on the sooner side than later. I was told it was easier to break the bonds of any scarring tissue closer to the surgery rather than coming back and trying to loosen things up once those bonds are formed. It made sense to me. As for after a year, I personally wouldn't go more than three days without dilating. YMMV I'm in the process of trying to expand depth and width, more in a fun way.

Thanks Moni. I was told I have the larger dilators already, only the largest one is missing. Because I needed no grafts, I have no hurting scars inside the neo vagina, and I can insert the blue dilator absolutely painfree, and rather easy, if I can relax the pelvic floor muscles enough.
I have my postop Friday, and hopefully can drive back home. Once home, I will start to experimemt with the larger dilator a bit.

I still don't know if I could accept men to have sex with me, but I will try to stay open minded about it, now that I have suitable equipment.
I am definitely confused about my feelings currently, and I think my therapist and I have to do some more talking about the subject.
I might have harbored more homophobia inside me than I thought was possible.

Is blue your #1? Your smallest? Mine are, smallest to largest, purple, blue, green, and orange. I believe there is even a larger one, but not for this honey pot! When you start a bigger size, don't go too fast. I kinda did it in steps of three, not all in the beginning sitting.

Yes, blue is my starter, and it is not a challenge in width. I bet I could get up to the next size rather easily.
They told me to always use blue first for about 10 mins. To follow with the larger size.
