I figured I would create the title before Moni beat me to it.  I have been intending to start this for a couple weeks but nothing seemed worthy.  So I will go the opposite direction and start with something totally trivial.

I got my first real manicure today.  woo hoo.  Only 3 years after transition.  ;D

LMAO  I have been threatening Moni with lawsuits in multiple venues.  You probably are right.  ;D

Thanks Maddie - There is color it is pink with white tips.  It is my natural nails not acrylic but yes there is color on the entire nail.  I felt bad for the girl - Macy - that did them.  I think that she thought I didn't like them because I did not act excited when she was done.  I may have been a little disappointed because I envisioned them differently but in the two hours since she finished they are growing on me.  Growing on me get it - my nails.  hahahaha  so bad.

Start using lotion and of course drink plenty of water.  My hands used to look much worse.  Rough, dry and slightly cracked skin.  They still look masculine due to their size but my skin is much better.

Looks great.

I've had a few manicures, but don't do it too often as it doesn't last unless you get the gels. Those are almost impossible to remove.

Kim, these nails and the fingers look great,  I tried to do the white tips, but have not managed this yet.  I do my own finger stuff, and Amber does my toes.

Since I now only have 9 toes a pedicure should be at a discount.  ;D  How do I have 9 toes.  Short version....

Oct 2016 I was at Sparkle in CA it is an annual CD and TS event - dinner, comedian, dancing.  So I dance all night and 4 of my toes were bleeding.  OUCH.  3 healed and one never did.  Got infected and snip - 9 toes.  My Mother said it's just a small problem.... it was my pinky  ;D.

On another topic I am traveling on Friday to Vegas.  Today I went to a large grocery store and bought literally the last container of Lysol disinfectant wipes.  I asked and they said it was the last one in the store.

Before anyone asks why am I so stupid going on this trip I have weighed the risks / benefits.  There are currently 4 cases in Nevada (sure to rise ) but my friend is treating me to an all expenses paid trip and I have no idea when I can afford a trip again with my drastic cut in income.  I would not even think of going in several weeks as the spread increases.

My real worry is when I come back home and back to work in the upcoming weeks and months.  For those that don't know me I deal poker in Minneapolis at a large casino.  I truly think it is a 50/50 proposition that either A. I contract it or B. business drops so dramatically I will be unable to work.  So I guess I will enjoy next week and after that......

I'm one of those hopelessly optimistic people and always try to look on the bright side of every situation. So the bright side for you could be that now high heel shoes will probably fit better. You'll only have to worry about squeezing four little piggies in that shoe.

Did you save the appendage they removed? You could have made it into a cool necklace or something.

Hope you have a blast on your trip!! I'm sure as long as you practice a few safety measures, like hand washing, and keeping your distance from people, you'll be fine. I can't wait to hear all your cool stories when you get back.

Remember, in a base 9 system the digit 9 doesn't exist. Decimal 9 would be expressed as 10 (base 9), and decimal 10 would then be 11 (base 9), so she would have 11 fingers and 10 toes (base 9). Makes sense?

Yes you are right, of course! This is why I shouldn't drink and do math! Keep in mind it has been 90 years since I had math in high school. Eh ...I mean 10...I think?? Still, the picture of Kimmy having 91 fingers is quite appealing  to me. She would be a great tickler. Thanks HeideMarie! Somehow with your math, you have given her back her missing toe. It's a March miracle!

Hi Kim! Sorry to hear about you toe. I tried to apply the base 9 system to basic trig but fell short. Good luck with the discounts for 9 toes hun. I can't imagine heels fitting better as a result. I think my toes would just jam further into the pointed tips, making it more painful.

I've been getting mani-petis for almost a year now but last week I decided to get my first acrylic gels. I've never had long nails before, so it has taken a while to get used to them. It's a weird feeling when my nails reach the destination before my finger tips do. I do use lots of lotion and drink lots of water but my grandma looking hands are about all I can coax out of them. Don't judge me!

Have fun in Vegas. Be safe. When you gotta go, ya gotta go.

@ Donica, I bet you can get your hands looking better if you would apply the proper moisturizer/  You want some stuff that is as high as possible in it's Hyaluronic Acid (sometimes called: hyaluronan) content.  I bet that your hands would look better after you have used the stuff for a few month.
It should be understood that you never can get hands looking like a teenager, but you can reduce the wrinkles to some extent.

This little piggy went wee wee wee all the way home.  Oh that was over a week ago. Oops.

Got back from Vegas.  UGH  Flight was delayed 18 hours.  Arrived Mpls at 830am. OUCH

So while I was gone the poker room closed.  Got laid off.

Unemployment department thinks I am still Michael from when I was laid off 7 years ago.  I had to send my new DL SS card new birth certificate and court order of the name change. OMG  Now I get to wait who knows how long for my money. Unbelievable.

I hope it goes fast, after all, you are in Minnesota, and they ar efficient!  if it would be here, I would plan for a lump sum around Christmas time, probably jut a little late to buy gifts from it!

Glad you are home Kimmy! I keep thinking the scientists need to come up with better technology like better masks so we can function better doing our jobs even though we aren't immune to the virus. Even if just on a temporary basis til things calm down. For now, all we can do is hide, instead of function.

A LITTLE  bad luck with jobs. LOL  It's funny for 25 years I thought I was set for life regarding my career.  I was in very solid at Hertz - bosses loved me - good at my job.  Was going to retire from there.  Then FORD motors sold us and it took several years but eventually the new owners gutted the company.  I rebounded and went to Dollar and Thrifty rent a car in a director position but then Hertz bought THEM and laid off the entire sales force.  It's as if they were following me around to screw me.  ;D

Life is so unpredictable I thought I had it made and it disappeared but I'm OK.  I came out and am living openly.  Much poorer but openly and I have learned a lot about life.

Well, I worked in the labs of the company best know for all the masks, and the masks are pretty darn good, if worn correctly.  I was at a large medical clinic today, and every doc and nurse were wearing their masks incorrect.  If the med people don't know how to put those things on right, ho shall lay people know?
An if they know it, how can one convince them to keep their fingers away from their head (Hair or eyes).  The CDC did a study a while ago, and found that they eyes are the main port of entry for human pathogens, and that microorganism slowly slide down from the hair into the eyes!

Don't blame the masks, they are as good as they can be!
