I escaped!!
Don't worry I was all masked up and had. No contact. Had to get my groceries from the Walmart pickup. Just a bit of mascara and my nails horribly done. First time going out like this. It was exhilarating!!

Love y'all

Kàra!

Taste is basically like after you burned your tongue on coffee and it's all numb for a while.

Hope they don't get it. I am assuming I have mild case. I wasn't worried though. I have never had the flu or anything. Most I ever gotten in my life was sinus infections.

It was a pleasure meeting your wife last night. It’s great to finally understand the dynamic between the two of you only hearing one side doesn’t give a full picture. I love the fact that she’s willing to now jump in and help you figure things out. Remember communication is the key. I gave her my number if she ever wanted to chat ( I believe we exchanged numbers along time ago ) I’m happy to help her to try to understand. I mean between your job, being sick like this and transitioning at the same time it’s enough for anyone. Now throwing issues with your kids, your wife not feeling well, finances ........who knows. Amazing how life can get very complicated. You’re a great person and I have a lot of respect for you if there’s ever any way that I can help I’m here. By the way major kudos to overcoming your fear and the nail polish is cute.....

Hugs

Y'all are awesome. Thank you for being so open and caring. I love y'all so very much.

Also I don't know if it's the quarantine, or the hormones but lately I have felt very fem and pretty. I can't help but smile when I go by a mirror lately. The song, Your so vain comes to mind....

Lol!

That’s an extremely exciting moment when you start seeing feminine glimpes. This is what I learned going through this.

The truth you’re starting to see little bits and pieces of yourself coming through, but it’s not perfect yet, it doesn’t look great. So you’re not quite sure what you’re seeing. It’s part dysphoria and it’s also part of the early phases of transition. You know when you look in the mirror, you do not look like a woman. Of course not, it’s not that easy. What is amazing is every step you take brings you closer.

You put on the make up, you put on the clothes .....for the most part you don’t see the person you want to see in the mirror yet, but It makes you feel little bit better about yourself doing it. that’s why we all have done that.
We are searching for our true selves, practicing so we can be better later.

Then it happens..... you walk past the mirror and you suddenly get a glimpse of your reflection. It’s only for a moment, but you can see the true Kara coming through. I can be exhilarating only for a few seconds.

Cool part .....the further you get into transition, the more you see yourself, moments become longer and longer. It means you’re doing great. Where your journey goes from there, surgeries you feel you need, all of that is your own to figure out. You’re on the right path.

Now I understand this is not how everybody else sees you, everybody will have a different opinion. Some people see much more feminine beautiful things then you’ll see for a very long time. That’s OK they have non biased eyes. Listen to them it’ll bring you encouragement when you need it. I’m just glad you’re starting to see the things that you need to see. I am rooting for you.

Nice eye shadow.

Hugs

That’s lovely
It has taken me a lifetime to get where I am. Practicing makeup
Cushing my hair
Different clothes styles
Even now after 27 years of practice I still find new looks and tweek something.
I think I started on eyebrows and nails. My mother in law would tell me off for having them too long. Not knowing. My eyebrows of course were due to “age” and hair loss.
the most amazing moment for me was my first shower after surgery and I saw my whole body. A woman’s. Magic.
I love reading your little notes

Looks good. What kind of sausage do you use in that?

Normally any kind of cajun sausage or andouille sausage. I love the jalapeno cheese sausage as well.
