my mum told me that when i was a kid that i walked like a boy and her and my dad had a conversation about how masculin i walked. my grandad asked her why i walked so much like a boy. my mum even accused me of copying the way my friend walked once.

i was looking at this photo of me and my grandad and my stance is more masculin than his.1607456920851-07f0b0e2-348d-42a0-9e7a-97b7951b00da.jpg

Funny how these things can slip under the radar for so many years, yet be so obvious to others all along. I never got the chance to talk with my mother girl to girl, but thinking back to our conversations from so long ago, she knew I was a girl even before I did. Boy! The questions I have for her when I see her again in Heaven.

I had the opposite problem. I was accused of walking and standing like a girl by several people over the years. Lol, turns out they were right!

I know I was conscious of how I walked when I was young and had to work at walking like I was "supposed to." Just another one of the dots that took me all of my life to connect.

Hehe, I think I always walked and had the stance of a guy, too. For example, I always liked sitting with my legs apart, but one day I learned that girls are not supposed to do that, so I tried to avoid it. Also posing in photos... I never really stood ladylike. During the last ten years, I tried to copy other girls how they posed it photos, but this just wasn't me. And it always looked fake, regardless of how hard I tried.
Funnily, I never realized this before I read this thread, so thank you very much for sharing this, @sam .
