Just finished with my permanent makeup. One touch up in two months on my eyeliner and I’ll be done. I got lips (75% watermelon, 25% candy apple red) those are healed and should last at least five years. Brows just had a touch up done today as the initial microblading had healed. They turned out really good and should be good to go for years. Today I got the eyeliner done. It bled quite a bit but turned out pretty good in a charcoal mocha color (I have brown eyes). My eyes hurt and look like I’ve been crying for hours but will be healed in 10-14 days. I’ll get a touch up end of August and then shouldn’t need anything for at least 10 years. But I’m done and it’s nice just to roll out of bed with most of my makeup on. I suck at eyeliner anyway so happy to just have that done. Anyway, just thought I’d report that I think it’s well worth it if anyone is considering it. Just do your research and find a good artist.

I had my brows done about two years ago, and get a touch up once a year. I had my eyeliner done early his year, and hada touch up three weeks ago. I am very happy with it, and would do it over and over again.

I did not do the lips, because I change color often to fit my nail color. I am pretty good and fast in applying the liquid lip color to the lips that last very well for about 12 to 14 hours.

Cool! Yeah I’m liking it. My eyes look rough rn but they’ll look better soon. As far as the lip color, I just picked like an everyday daywear color so I always have that in matte. If I put some Aquaphor on it then it looks a little darker like a gloss lipstick. But if I want something else I can always just run over it with some lipstick. For like going out or when I’m feeling the need for a change. But if your a heavy everyday lipstick changer I can totally see skipping it. I’m mostly lazy lol. That and much of my stuff is in the same type of pallet clothing wise. I have colors I like.

Bleeding eyes? Hmmmm, sounds like fun if I were a masochist.

Us eye tattoo ladies are tough broads! We feel OK having the blood running down from our eyes like you see it in horror movies. We thrive on this, so you better watch out!

Whats the cost on these? I'd be interested in brows and eye liner mostly if I can afford it.

My eyeliner was $395. Sounds like a lot but it’s good for at least 10 years so that’s a lot of eyeliner you wouldnt need to buy and hassle doing eyeliner. Brows were like $395. Lips $525. But that’s in Madison I’m sure cost vary by location and place. Just make sure you get someone who is good because if they screw it up that’s really bad because it’s on your face.

Thanks Emma.

Its going to have to wait awhile. Not sure I'd do lips, like to change that up sometimes.

My skin studio had a special for the eyeliner, it was $195.00. I don't remember the brows anymore.

Once the lips are healed you can put whatever gloss or lipstick you want on. It just provides definition to the lips and a good overall day to day color really. But like if going out, you can definitely go with whatever your feeling

Yikes! I felt brave letting the U of I burn my face with a class 4 laser, but having a needle that close to my eye is something I am not sure I could do!

I don’t want to say it doesn’t hurt, but she numbs it before tattooing and you keep your eyes closed so it’s not like your staring at a needle.

I did the laser hair removal too and electrolysis. Seems everything causes pain and it all becomes kind of relative after a while. I’ve never used any kind of numbing cream for laser or electrolysis. Didn’t even know it was an option until I started hearing of others using it, but by then I was just kinda use to what to expect when she sets the electrolysis machine to Death Star. You just kinda get used to it after a while. Ie..I hated the hair on my face more than I hated the pain. But generally, no I don’t enjoy pain lol. And I don’t think my pain tolerance is anything out of the ordinary. As with anything else, it really comes down to how badly you want a given result be it hair removal, makeup, surgery, etc.
