Reading the conversations of you young guys, makes me wonder how life was for trans males in the days I grew up? The classifying of male and female was so much more rigid than. Girls did not wear pants, never. There was not much chance for a natal female to express any masculinity after even the very early years of puberty.
That was one of my major problems, having a mostly female phenotype but having to act like a guy. I had understanding and loving parents, and that helped.
But all the trans persons during these days, who had clear gender phenotypes must have felt caged in, if the parents were very rigid!
I am very glad that those days are over, and you have at least a chance to find your real self, and not have to wait for more than half a century to become yourselves.

Lots of luck for you all on your path.

Hugs

Hey Allie!
And aha it’s apart of the username
I like it, true chaos lol
Welcome I'm new too. I can't label myself yet, so I go with non binary. I'm so confused, and I've never really given my gender any real thought until recently going into therapy sessions. They opened my eyes to a whole new world. Where before I never felt like I fitted in, and I was uncomfortable around my peers (men) , at least now I have some understanding, and secretly had know all my life my gender was very fluid and very feminine, but I just dismissed it all my life. And just thought of myself as 'odd' which lead to anxieties, isolation and lack of passion in things... I mean who can get excited about shopping for clothes when deep down you feel like you should be wearing something else.
