My name is Ellie I am a MtF transwoman living in Australia and I have been on HRT for 3-4 months
I came out in January but I had been heavily questioning for most of 2020 becoming more and more interested in being transfeminine until I realized I was not a feminine man but a woman.

But I had been dealing with what i now know was dysphoria all throughout puberty and high school and generally hating my body and having things like only ever being willing to shower in a stall at swimming classes as a kid and a bunch of other stuff i could go into for hours which shows how i was not happy with the gender i was assigned at birth.

Also I was recommended to join by another trans person and i decided i might as well try it
hope to get to talk to people :)

Hi Ellie, welcome to our Refuge! I like to write, and have had columns in magazines plus feature stories, and co authored books. I wrote hundreds of trans fiction stories to help me deal with dysphoria, some of which are on this site. I hope you will write something more about yourself and your writings here!

Hugs,

Allie

i mean i might as well attach main two writing docs here seeing it is my introduction
these are worldbuilding docs i am currently in process of making and because of it being WIP some elements may be only partially written or contradictory seeing i have been coming up with a lot of new ideas and rebuilt several elements of magic system several times but general themes of each age remain

also at the moment the project is kind of in worldbuilding phase were i have not really been able to think of much in the way of plots and have more being going into more and more depth with the world and how it works in the different periods

one thing is i am partially waiting on friend with working to make planet map to help me with thinking on progression of individual cultures and civilizations on the planet but in more general sense of things in each age i have a lot of detail

Hi @Ellie (She/Her)

I'm so glad that you found us here. My name's Lexxi and I came out a little over two years ago. In one more month I will hit my two year HRT anniversary.

I too like to write...or I used to I should say. I was in college between 2012 and 2017 and I was a history major. As such I had to write some extraordinarily long term papers. The first few weren't bad, but the farther along I got into my education, the longer and harder the papers got. By the end I so dreaded writing another paper that I seriously thought about dropping out of school. But I stuck it out and graduated with honors.

After I graduated I spent a year writing simple-minded articles for an online political news site. Now I didn't mind that kind of writing. In fact I used to say it was trashy writing, lol. But it was fun stuff to write and I had a good time with it. I used to crank out, and get published bunches of articles every single day. My record was 11 articles in one day. I got paid by the number of "clicks" I had, and that day paid me very well.

Sadly that job dried up and the only writing I've done since then is on forums like this one. I've honestly been thinking about writing a book though. I just don't know if I can make myself commit to all the time and effort it will take.

Well it's nice to know that you're here on our lovely site. Just jump into any threads you feel like jumping into. We're a very friendly bunch and most of us don't bite.

Hi Ellie, I like to write too. If fact I know all my letters, all 24 of them. The other day, my friend told me there were more letters after 'w' and I totally freaked out. Gosh life is so hard! Well, this is what I do. I do 'stupid' really well. Anyway, I do enthusiastically welcome you to TR. Glad to hear you have identified your true self, that's great!
