Finally coming out 6 years ago was a relieve to me,it was on national coming out day and I was 36 at the time.Knew it was the perfect day to do it.My whole family saw I was unhappy and in the closet about it.I tried to deny it and it was my wife that convinced me to open up and come out about it.Met at my place, wife was there too and I was in our bedroom preparing it all.Opened the door and they saw I finally ready.Looked right at them and came out transgendered in a way as a crossdresser. My wife took it well at first. My family, they adjusted well to it knowing there were going to be changes with me in a positive way.An ex wife of mine was even there, said we are still on good terms and we still talk.I have two daughters with her whom are now 18 and 20.It did take them time to accept it,they were 12 and 14 at the time.It has been great with the changes with my family and wife.My wife has been 100% supportive, she helped me a lot buying clothes, shoes and make up.She does ear piercing, pierced my ears.My family, they have been great about the changes

I am and we read about the marriages that failed after a spouse came out as transgender. She sees me as her husband still now happily dressing fulltime as a woman now

Cassie, congratulations, coming out is always a hard thing to do! I'am so glad you have so much support! Did your family and friends realise you were going through frustration and pain before you came out? They must all see you as a much happier person now!

Hugs,

Allie
