After 51 Months 457 124 0.3 9

After 54 Months 508 138 0.3 9

I reverted from Sandrena E Gel to Evorel Patches started July 1st meaning latest covers one month of the latter. Minor increase coincidence or not? Next BT in November may show further evidence. Obviously all my results are trough readings.

Hello again Everyone

57 Months Results are as below

Once again my T 0.3 nmol/l or 9 ng/dl and very stable indeed.

My E has increased to 1369 pmol/l or 373 pg/ml. I have almost no doubt that this result is due to my change from Sandrena E Gel to Evorel Patches with same dosage/strength for both which started July 1st.

Hello again Donica

Yes. Just after the midpoint between change of Patches (as I couldn't secure BT at trough on this occasion).

My 42 month levels tested at 1200 pmol/l or 327 pg/ml. Doc was happy it came down from the last test at 1800 pmol/l!

A few months ago, because Depo Estradiol-Estradiol Cypionate for my injections became unavailable due to supply shortages, my endo switched me to Estradiol Valerate. I was taking the Cypionate at 0.5 ml once a week, and my dosage of Valerate was .25 ml per week.

After 8 weeks I had a blood test and my estradiol level was 680 pg/ml and way too high. It seems that the valerate is much more potent than the cypionate!

I had to stop injections for two weeks and then get another blood test, and when I resume, change the dosage to 0.1 ml.

The nice thing is that valerate is half the cost of cypionate and now a 5 ml vile will last me almost a year (50 injections) instead of 10 weeks!

BTW my surgery has been postponed to January due to the surgeon not being available on Dec 9.

Donna, I've heard that Valerate can be stronger and needs a lower dose, it worries me that your Endo wasn't aware of this. Also, stopping cold from such a hireading, did you have any meapausal symptoms? My surgery was originally scheduled for Dec 10, but I delayed it to Jan 6 so I could have Christmas with my family. I hope the delay doesn't cause you any anxiety.

Hugs,

Allie

Allie, I use the services of Planned Parenthood, a national organization in the US that is mostly known for facilitating abortions, but they also have transgender services. Due to their ability to do most of this virtually they have a huge trans clientele and have much experience with hormone treatment, but I think that most transwomen in the US used Estradiol Cypionate, so they did not have much experience with valerate until recently. When they gave me my blood test results they said that they were just realizing that the valerate was more potent.

I have not had any adverse reactions, maybe my E level has come down to normal now since it was so high. I take a reduced dosage injection this Friday after missing two weeks

Allie, I don't have any anxiety about when I have my surgery as I never found that I have very much dysphoria, I just always rather wanted to be a girl and nothing could stop me from crossdressing and that's what resulted in the end of my marriage. I want the surgery for more practical reasons. I'm living as a woman, I look like a woman and I want to look COMPLETY like a woman and not have to see my male genitals anymore, and if anyone ever sees me naked, I don't want ever to be found out.

As far as the timing is concerned, I don't worry about that at all, I take a spiritual approach. The Lord knows when the timing is right and I trust it will happen at the best time for me. As it has been, had I had the surgery sooner, I would have missed out on some very important things that have happened in my life recently so I know HE is taking care of me and knows what is best for me.

I've always taken the Valerate and my dosage is .7mL once a week using a 3 mL syringe. My estradiol level stays between 600 and 650 pg/mL. My doctor said that since I'm a bigger person I need to keep a higher level.

She must be right too because when I've lowered my level I sweat like a fiend and don't feel very well. Then almost as soon as I bring my level back up those symptoms go away. I wish I didn't have to keep my level that high, but there's not a whole lot I can do about it. I have to follow what my body says to do.

A vial of of my valerate lasts just about two months.

Lexxi, are you testing mid cycle? Also, if you are only taking .7ml, a 1ml syringe is much easier to use than a 3ml syringe.

No I'm testing at the closest trough level possible. I mean I usually have my blood drawn an hour before I'm due for my next shot.

I don't mind the 3 mil syringes. That's what my doctor prescribed....plus I have about a year's worth of them now. I just buy a bunch whenever I think about it then add them to a box I have.

Thank you so much Kathy for your latest BT results. Well worth me waiting for them.

I remember on the other site 4 years ago that you initiated the necessary subject of Unit Conversions hopefully helpful to thousands of us!

Once again thank you truly, Kathy.

Well, my 46 month levels came in at twice my last levels, this time 2400pmol/l (650pg/ml), on the same dose! It seems my statin medication may be responsible for these high levels.

Allie

Oh hey I had my annual on Friday, including a visit to the vampires

Based on my lab tests I'm The healthiest old fat person ever.

Results pertinent to this thread,
Estradiol 207 pg/ml
Testosterone 5 ng/dl.

Take a shot every Wednesday but held the dose until after lab draw Friday to get a trough level.

I am on estrogen gel for about a year now (same stuff they use for postmenopausal biological females). I am at 112 pg/ml, and my endo and I feel very comfortable with this level. I am fully off of progesterone for about 6 weeks now, and feel OK with this. I still take my testosterone pills, and keep my level at 12 ng/dl.
I am now like any average post menopausal woman, and my major problems are to keep my weight under control, and to decide which hair color I want.

I am shooting for this hair color and this hair do! Now that I am rather slim and trim, I feel that I can do this, and look pretty OK.

Hello again

This time I was able to secure trough reading.

After 59 months my E is 631 pmol/l or 172 pg/ml but my T has increased hopefully temporarily to 0.5 nmol/l or 14 ng/dl.

Pamela, it looks like you have a decent T rating now. I think it should not be temporarily, because it is still on the rather low side for an average cis woman. You will realize that this bit of testosterone will provide you with more energy and a tiny bit of libido.
