Allie, I use the services of Planned Parenthood, a national organization in the US that is mostly known for facilitating abortions, but they also have transgender services. Due to their ability to do most of this virtually they have a huge trans clientele and have much experience with hormone treatment, but I think that most transwomen in the US used Estradiol Cypionate, so they did not have much experience with valerate until recently. When they gave me my blood test results they said that they were just realizing that the valerate was more potent.
I have not had any adverse reactions, maybe my E level has come down to normal now since it was so high. I take a reduced dosage injection this Friday after missing two weeks
Allie, I don't have any anxiety about when I have my surgery as I never found that I have very much dysphoria, I just always rather wanted to be a girl and nothing could stop me from crossdressing and that's what resulted in the end of my marriage. I want the surgery for more practical reasons. I'm living as a woman, I look like a woman and I want to look COMPLETY like a woman and not have to see my male genitals anymore, and if anyone ever sees me naked, I don't want ever to be found out.
As far as the timing is concerned, I don't worry about that at all, I take a spiritual approach. The Lord knows when the timing is right and I trust it will happen at the best time for me. As it has been, had I had the surgery sooner, I would have missed out on some very important things that have happened in my life recently so I know HE is taking care of me and knows what is best for me.
