Congratulations Karajo. Yes quite normal. Breast growth and other female attributes can come at any time - gradually or suddenly or it spurts.

Wishing you happiness and success.

With breast growth, nothing is normal. Each body reacts and acts different!
I am working on my girls close to 10 years already, and had not changed much over the last several years. According to all predictions that the max growth is at about 3 years, and a possible growth might be be max 5 years, I had given up to be ever anything more than a 38 C. Well I have to report that my boobs did not know about the time limit they had, and that they were allowed to grow. They decided to grow over the course of the last two years into a pretty healthy 38 DD, and how they feel, they seem to have even more growing plans. I seem to be getting big boobs!
Don't have anybody tell you what is normal and what is wrong with your transition and your body. Everything that happens with it and you, is normal for you!

@Karajo this isn’t that unusual. I was on HRT for close to 1.5 years when mine hit turbo speed, but I was on and off HRT throughout the first year.

It just seems like in a week they went from nah to tada!! Little freaked out to be honest. They are quite noticable now and hard to hide. I just tell everyone I got fat and kept the boobs!

Yep, mine actively grew between 5 and 7 months then stopped. Any change in measurements up or down since then has been weight related, although the shape improved a bit over the remainder of the first year. A or AA cups in my band size are virtually non-existent. So like Moni did, with very little to show, I'm about to cheat!
Cheers,

In my current avatar photo I'm wearing 400cc breast forms. My breast surgeon is suggesting that I choose between 625 and 700cc implants.

I think Tonya could say something about this, she has 400 cc implants. I would not even know what any cc implants would look like in bra size?

Linde, I tried on sizers and anything smaller didn't look right. The 400c forms in the photo are definitely too small. One surgeon, who I'm definitely not using, recommended 775cc, which were clearly too big! (He might be a good surgeon but had no evident personality or capacity for rapport at all; I had to prompt him to introduce himself!)

Kenna, it must be in Australia like it is un the US, med school does not teach bedside manner. That is taught during thr residency, and depends on the teaching of the facility. This means one bad facility teaches droves of doctors who are not able to deal with patients.

Linde, Most of it is a person's natural personality that is a mixture of genetics and upbringing. Training can help a bit but some med schools make no attempt to check for a person's personality or motivation and they can end up producing excellent technicians who can also pass exams well but are like this guy. I think that he would be better suited to being pathologist rather than a plastic surgeon. I could give multiple further examples of how he didn't "get it" but the point is made.
Cheers,

One thing I noticed with the sizers was that they looked bigger than what you get. I'd assume there would be some sort of adjustment because of this, meaning the sizer is supposed to approximate a 400cc implant and a 400cc sizer is not actually 400cc. Still the sizer showed a bit larger than what I'll have.

In all cases of trying sizers in a bra there was a detailed table showing which sizer, or in my case pair of sizers, equated to each sized and shaped implant. I'd assumed that they fairly closely approximated the final result rather than just matching volumes. The person who assisted me last time, and I assume will be assisting me again, has implants herself so is able to offer additional insights. I'll have to check this with her. I've been asked to bring various tops to see how they all look.
Thanks,
-Kenna

Being a doctor requires rigorous study and training of a non-personal nature, similar to an engineer's training. You study systems, chemistry, anatomy, etc. You don't study or interact with people, you study systems and components, and the manners in which they interact. Unfortunately, you don't need to be very personable to succeed in this type of work, and the type of personable person you would like to have as a doctor tends to be attracted to other lines of work that don't require such impersonal studies.

There is a reason that I went into research, and not into practizing. My bedside manners would have been rotten.

Kenna, just make sure that you do not size your boobs to certain clothing items. The items have to fit the boobs, and not the other way around.
I have to buy clothing that fits my torso, including the boobs.
I don't know how much different kinds of bras changed the looks of the handmade boobs, but with my homgrown ones, there can be a lot of difference in looks between the different bras.

Kenna, something to ask about! I had 640's. With a bigger rib cage, the breasts naturally are further apart. Going bigger, you end up with some side boobage. Now a little is nice, but I have to wonder if I had gone bigger, would that extra cc amount just end up on the sides. There are three different profile implants. I got the medium profile. Getting bigger cc's doesn't necessarily mean they will stick out further. I was not offered the higher profile as I was told they were used for mastectomy patients only. Not sure if that is true. I'll tell you my measurements to give you an idea of my proportions. I'm 5'7' and about 170lbs. The 640's are pretty proportional for me. My only wish is they were closer, but I have a size 38 band size. I'm only teased about them being big if I wear the right top (like the pink one above.) Hope this helps.

Oh you might have to convert to gallons or stones or whatever you use over there. Here we use base 12 or base 16 mathematical equations to describe ourselves. My kingdom for the metric system.

I'm convinced many doctors have bad bedside manner so they don't feel obligated to do anything extra as far as their effort. Stay cold to the patient, they will be less likely to take up your time. Especially surgeons!

Depending on the brand, I have a 38 or 40 bandwidth, and I am 5' 9" tall and somewhere around 195 lbs (the famous ring around the middle, equipped with love handles). I have a bra size of 38 DD/40 D, and even with the naturally grown girls, I have enough underarm boobs that I need a proper cut bra to pull this to the front. But most older women have this, too. To get some kind of cleavage, I have to wear a torture type of a bra, which pulls the girls together. It might be easier, If I would have one size more, but I still would not have this breath stopping cleavage, my rib cage is simply to wide for this.
But many natal women don't have this dream cleavage either
