Just wondering how many of us gals like Venus ? They have become one of my favorite
clothing places to shop online (especially the clearance section)
If I were a gg they would get even more of my business but many of their styles won't
work with all the undergarments and padding I need to present how I like.
They still carry quite a few styles that I can work with. Be warned if you order from them
you will get lots of catalogs in the mail after, not a problem for me but could be for others.
Not sure if you can opt out of getting them or not. Still I really like a lot of the styles they carry.

Macy's, Nordstrom Rack & TJ Maxx are a few other favs for online shopping.

Hugs...

I gave up online clothing shopping, I go to the stores and want to try it on. I go to Target, Penny, Nordstroem Rack, Marshal's, TJ Max and some local stores. I also find really nice brand name stuff at Costco.

I just find it impossible to shop for girl stuff while in drab mode.
If there was online shopping when I was in my 20's I'd hate to think
how large my wardrobe would be right now LOL

You should check them out Katie. Some of their regular priced stuff is just out
of my comfort zone so I always hit the clearance section first. Sadly their shoe & boot
selections only go to size 10

I’m wearing a Venus top right now :). Its a sleeveless, runched top, one of maybe a dozen or more Venus tops in my closet. I’ve been very pleasantly surprised by their style, fit and price. Also have sweaters, skirts and dresses from Venus that i love!

The only issue I had shopping for female clothing in male mode was my wife got embarrassed and would hide when I took female clothes o the fitting rooms. Most sales staff were nicer to me than usual, and while I was looking for my size bras, a female customer commented to me what a great deal they were, and I should buy more. Australia is pretty laid back about these things though. I was upfront about being trans and it does take all the guilt out of it. Hey, we are what we are, why let it restrict your life!

I’ve never seen that website before. Just looked through the website a bit and it looks like nice stuff. I like that a fair amount of it is fitted which I like. I’ll have to spend some time looking through their clothing. I’ll probably order some things.

That said, usually I’m a go to the store and shop type as I like trying stuff on first generally. I sometimes even end up shopping with cis women who are there shopping. We have fun. Or if I’m with my husband I often try on outfits to see what my husband thinks. Although there was one jumper that I hated but bought because he absolutely loved it on me. Haven’t worn it yet. I probably should lol.

One time I brought my son with me when I decided out of the blue to go check out sports bras and this new brand of panties that Target had just gotten in. When we got out to the car my son said “I almost fainted. Are you trying to kill me”. Lol. Omg! So dramatic. But I haven’t taken him since lol. That was years ago.

9 yo I think at the time. Almost 10. For the record I didn’t do it on purpose. I actually didn’t think much of it. We have six kids so 🤷‍♀️. My husband had two sons and I had two daughters and we wanted kids of our own so we adopted two boys (biologically brothers) as infants. So kinda like a very diverse Brady bunch.

I think I’ve seen the catalogs in the past. Long time ago when I called myself a crossdresser. If I recall they were kind of on the sexy side. Stuff I used to wish I could wear.

OMG! I do that to my grandson. Sometimes on purpose now that I know he can handle it. He's 13 now and has been wandering off by himself in the store for a while so it's just me telling him I'm going to look at bras or whatever.

Tonya I agree some of their stuff is definitely for the 20-30 year olds. But I still find some nice items this old bird
can wear. I'll admit sometimes I don't dress age appropriate but there is no fun in doing that all the time :)

As I recall Venus, it's a lot a clubwear (focus on cleavage) and fitted/tight styles. So not really day wear, or very little of it. A place that EVERYONE should look at is Poshmark. It's new and used clothing but there are deals up the yinyang on name brand stuff. Well worth a pee.k.

I don't really like to buy clothing online. I like to touch it, and get a feel for the fabrik. I grew up in a family of textile engineering specialises, and learned this fabrik touch as a young child already. Also, my body is shaped difderent than that of the models, and that causes clothing to drape different on my body.
That is the reason I buy my stuff in a briks and mortar store.

OMG, This is the classiest lady I have ever met! Sam is the bastion of fashion and I am so jealous of her. She always looks great! Although our paths have slightly parted, I consider her a close friend and confidant, and wish her well on her CD journey, while I progress in my transgender odyssey.
Be well, my good friend, know I love you.
Hugs, Wanda
