Allison's story and journey started at age 10,I remember experimenting trying on girl's clothes and liked it.Was a family friend's house, parents were gone for the weekend.Mom suspected something was different with me and never mentioned it to me at first.I grew up with long hair to my shoulders,my mom attempted to take me to the barber to have my hair cut and I didn't want no part of it.Dad said I am happy with my long hair, let me keep it.Then my parents discovered something with me finally. It also led to me trying on make up and nail polish too as I got older, this was when I was 12 or 13 years old which I got it off before my parents got home from work.Ages 14 and 15,my parents noticed I wasn't like my two younger brothers whom have been rough and tough. They saw the feminine characteristics come out of me,one was crossing my legs. Also noticed I had feminine legs which I developed. My younger brothers saw it as well too.It was finally when I was 16 that I did come out about it.It was on a weekend one day,my parents asked me if we could have a talk and I did say sure.Went into my room, closed the door and sat down.Sat on the edge of my bed,dad was on the left and mom was on the right with me in the middle. Finally said there were times I want to dress as female at times and sometimes as male fighting this since I was 10 years old. Both listened right away and both were proud of me.Did find me help getting answers too, seen a gender specialist whom diagnosed me being genderfluid. My parents learned about this very well.Mom found me the right people helping me becoming the true me.Found a make up artist that taught me make up.Another took me clothes and shoe shopping including for bras and panties.Dad even took me out getting my ears pierced.Dressed at home when I didn't have to go to work at first.Other family members found out I am genderfluid.First time out as Allison was going to an Aunt's wedding.Picked out a dark navy knee length dress with wedges, did my hair and make up.Put in a pair of 1 inch hoop earrings in my ears.Mom did my nails.Good thing was my parents saw I was finally happy in my life.It was great with my other family members meeting Allison for the first time. They saw I was much happier in my life and said I looked pretty as a girl.My brothers,it took them time to accept I am genderfluid. My parents told me to have them do this.Mom,she is glad to have a daughter now at times.Relationships,it was really bad with my exes.Made fun of me and treated me badly. Then my wife Jessie came into my life in 1998,she saw I deserved better and glad to have her in my life. She shows her support to this day seeing me like any normal husband married to her since 2001.

As I said earlier, I had no gender association for most of my life. I was just floating in the middle between gender. This seems to be common for many intersex people. For most of my life I tried to present male, which was not all that easy some of the times, but I had gotten used to it.
Once my body decided to feminize even more, I felt more and more like a female. And these days I am happy that I am a woman.
Looking back at my genderless days, I was not very happy, because I did not have the sense of belonging. It was pretty lonesome.
Do you think that you might shed the male side of you over time, like I did?

I had planned to continue to present as male if it was of advantage to me, like having car work done, etc. But that stopped after a very short while, and I am 100% female since.

My wife Jessie,I still remember how we met.Met her through a college classmate and started talking.Did see I was with an ex of mine treating me horribly and asked me why I was with her still.Looked at me and deserved better,I knew she was right.Got rid of that ex and did confess to me that she liked me 2 weeks later. It was love after that with her in my life and felt much happier. On Decemember 31,1999,proposed to her just minutes before the ball fell down changing to the year 2000.She said yes of course. In Febuary 2001,we got married and will be 20 years soon
